Ringo Adamson


2-time Olympian, Marathon, 6-time World XC Team member, 1980 NCAA Div. III Steeplechase Champion, 2-time winner of the Philadelphia Marathon. Current Head Coach of the Rowan Univ Girls Track and Cross Country Teams. 2008 CTC Cross Country Champions and 2008 NJAC Coach of the Year for XC.

Previously, was the head coach, girls XC & track programs at Woodrow Wilson High School. Prior to Ringo taking over the team, the XC team had never won a dual meet. Within 3 years, Ringo led the Lady Tigers to their first South Jersey Group III XC Championship in 1998 and again in 2000. He was named Coach of the Year in cross country in 1998. The Lady Tigers won their first Group III State Relay Meet in 2000 and repeated again in 2001, 2005 & 2006. Coach Adamson was named the 1999-2000 New Jersey Indoor Track Coach of the Year by the Newark Star Ledger. The Woodrow Wilson Girl's Track Team had undefeated outdoor seasons in 2000, 2001 & 2002 year and won the South Jersey Group III Title all three years. The Lady Tigers were the #1 ranked team in South Jersey in 2001, 2002 & 2006
